Reply with quote | #1 | Error message on boot up
Excel UI initialization does not work properly. Save all workbooks and contact Microchart support
Environment WinXP SP3 Office 2003
No workbooks are open, of course, because this error occurs (persistently and consistently and in every instance of start or restart) on boot or start up. I cannot capture the screen because my screen capture program has not started when the message appears. Very frustrating. Advice/suggestions/fix much appreciated. |

Andreas, Excel does not start by default at system boot. I do, however, get the UI error message at every system boot.
I'll try to uninstall/reinstall and will report back.
Thanks for the response. |

Quote: Andreas, Excel does not start by default at system boot. Either Excel or WOrd starts at system startup, otherwise you would not get the error message (MicroCharts is an Office Addin). Can you chach why Excel or Word start at system startup?
